The AquaCal TropiCool is a standalone chiller heat pump unit. Meaning it does NOT have the capability of heating a pool or hot tub. We do offer AquaCal units with the ability to BOTH heat and cool a pool or hot tub within the AquaCal HeatWave SuperQuiet series.
AquaCal's TropiCool lowers the temperature of pool water offering a refreshing experience through the warmer months of the year. Unlike other units on the market based on evaporative cooling systems which struggle to perform in humid climates the AquaCal TropiCool is based on decades of AquaCal's proven heat pump technology.
