PATENTED BYPASS MANIFOLD
Most other salt systems use a "straight-pipe" design. The exclusive & patented AutoPilot manifold is a specialized piece of engineering:
- Variable Speed Optimized: While systems like the Pentair IntelliChlor has a tight 25–80 GPM tolerance, the AutoPilot manifold works perfectly from 15-20 GPM to 100 GPM. This ensures you actually save money on your electric bill with your VS pump.
- The "Last Line of Defense": Includes an exclusive strainer screen that prevents debris from entering the cell. No other manufacturer offers this.
- True Salt Sensing: The Tri-Sensor (Flow, Temp, Salt) reads salt levels independently of the cell. Competitors like Hayward and Pentair "calculate" salt based on cell performance, which becomes wildly inaccurate as the cell ages often causing frustrated pool owners to prematurely replace their salt cell.

A common complaint with competing salt systems is that they often struggle with "Low Flow" errors when running at high-efficiency speeds. When this happens the pump output needs to be turned up, negating the cost savings of the variable speed pump.
The Evolve's Patented Bypass Manifold is engineered to activate at flow rates as low as 15–20 GPM. This allows you to maximize the energy savings of a variable speed pump without sacrificing chlorine production.

The chart below is based on AutoPilot's sizing guidelines. We recommend "up-sizing" your system. A system running at 50% capacity lasts much longer than one running at 100% to keep up.
