AutoPilot Pool Pilot Warranty Procedure

All AutoPilot Pool Pilot warranty requests submitted to SaltPoolGuys.com should be done so via our online form. This expedites the process for all parties involved. If for some reason you unable to submit a warranty request online please do so by calling us at 888-725-8766 (we only accept warranty requests by phone Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:00 pm CST). 

PLEASE READ AND ACCEPT OUR WARRANTY POLICY BELOW BEFORE PROCEEDING:

  • We are an authorized dealer for AutoPilot Pool Pilot. Most resellers and authorized dealers refer warranty inquiries directly back to the manufacturer. As a customer of SaltPoolGuys.com we are happy to assist our customers directly with their warranty inquiries.
  • We work to handle all warranty inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Reading this page and following our tips will help with this.
  • If you prefer to work directly with the manufacturer on your warranty claim you may do so by calling them at (727) 823-5642 (Monday - Friday during normal business hours).

Our warranty process for AutoPilot Pool Pilot products is as follows:

  1. Fill out our online form. Our form is simple and just collects some basics such as your contact info and the issue that you’re experiencing. We have options for additional information as well such as order number and serial # but if you don’t have those handy right now don’t worry we’ll get them later if we need them.
  2. Once your form is submitted you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail showing the information that you submitted to us.
  3. We’ll get working on your request right away. The manufacturer's customer service department is open Monday - Friday (excluding holidays). We’ll need to get in touch with them for most warranty approvals. Therefore we process warranty claims Monday - Friday within their business hours.
  4. It should be noted that over half of the warranty inquiries that we receive are not issues related to the item that is being submitted. Because of this each and every warranty inquiry that we receive is reviewed and handled by one of our factory authorized AutoPilot Pool Pilot technicians. We may require some simple troubleshooting and diagnostics to be completed before proceeding with processing your warranty.

A note about cell warranties: Fewer than 1% of all cell warranty requests that we receive are actually a cell related issue. Unless physical damage that is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty is present (photos required) we will require you to work with us on water condition troubleshooting. This is not meant to dissuade anyone from submitting a cell warranty request. We only mention this because we'll be reaching out to you to provide free technical support before submitting the request on to the manufacturer.  We are able to fix most issues very quickly via technical support for cell related inquiries.
